When Jamie became the worship pastor at the Prosper Campus, she prayed and asked God to do the supernatural. She felt the Lord so clearly say, “You need to look for it in community—that’s where I’m going to do it.” Jamie had no idea how important her Gateway Prosper community would become in the coming months when she received the news of her cancer diagnosis. As she asked the hard questions and sought to trust the Lord, her church family came around her and supported her in so many meaningful and profound ways. The more she saw God’s hand at work, the more she realized this had become more than just her story—it became their story.
