At Gateway Church,
we’re all about people,
so there is something
for everyone!
Whether you’re a young or senior adult, single, or married with kids, you’ll feel encouraged by the authentic community we have at Gateway. You can visit as many times as you want without any obligations or pressure. And who knows—you just might decide to make Gateway your new church home! As you plan your visit, here are some things to know.
What is the worship like?
We begin each service with vibrant, contemporary Christian music led by our Gateway Worship team. Whether you lift your hands in praise and sing a long or stand in quiet reflection, we hope you’ll feel God’s presence.
What kind of message will I hear?
You’ll hear an encouraging Bible-based message by our Senior Pastor Robert Morris. On occasion, we’ll have a guest speaker who will share an impactful and uplifting message.
What is Gateway doing in response to COVID-19?
Your health and safety are our top priority. To allow for safe physical distancing, we’ve reduced the capacity for each service to 25%. Our campus teams are also taking extra time to thoroughly clean and disinfect spaces before, during, and after every service. In addition, you’ll find hand sanitizer stations at all entries and exits. We’ve got you covered!
Do I need to register to attend a service?
No. However, registration is required for children’s ministry.
Is everyone required to wear a mask during services?
Please wear a face mask to and from your seat. (You may remove it while seated if you are unable to keep it on during the length of the service.) If you forget to bring one, we will have masks available!
Will my temperature be taken as I enter the campus?
No. However, we are asking everyone to self-screen at home. If you forget, we will have self-serve temperature stations on site. If you have a fever of 100 degrees or above, a cough or sore throat, shortness of breath, or contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 (in the past 14 days), please stay home and worship with us online. You can stream our live service starting at 4 pm (CT) on Saturday.
Is children’s ministry available?
Yes! Gateway Kids is a place where your kids can have fun, grow, and discover just how much God loves them. If you plan to join us in person, children’s ministry registration is required. If you join us online, we have fun ministry experiences for kids at home too! Learn more.
Are services available in Spanish?
Spanish interpretation is available at all of our campuses; visit Connect Central in the lobby to pick up a headset. If you’re joining us online, we have a Spanish service every week!
What should I wear?
At Gateway, you’ll see everything from suits to T-shirts and shorts. Wear what makes you feel comfortable—you’re among family here!
How long is the service?
Our services finish promptly around 75 minutes. We end with an opportunity for you to receive prayer and one-on-one ministry from a trained staff member or volunteer on our prayer team. You can also text your prayer request to 71010.
What time does service start?
We have campuses throughout the Metroplex offering various start times on Saturdays and Sundays. Find a time at a campus near you and join us for worship!
For other questions about our current service experience, check out our In-person FAQ.
What kind of experience will my kids have?
While you experience inspiring worship and teaching in the auditorium, your children (birth through sixth grade) can learn a Bible lesson tailored to their grade level and participate in fun activities with other children their age in a secured area. Children’s ministry registration is required, so be sure to sign up ahead of time! When you arrive, you can sign them in at the check-in desk in the Kids ministry wing of the building.
