While in a place he wouldn’t wish for anyone to experience, Cesar walked into a room where he encountered his deepest sense of love and peace. Cesar stepped into a Gateway Prison Campus during his incarceration, and he met Jesus for the first time. He also met volunteers from the Gateway Grand Prairie Campus who let him know that he would have a church family waiting for him when he got out. Cesar says Gateway changed his life in prison and continues to change the lives of him and his family on the other side. He found faith, family, and a place to belong.
