Preston Morrison became part of Gateway Church early on. In 2000, when he was 22, Pastor Robert brought him on staff to be the part-time youth pastor. Over the years, he developed and led Gateway’s young adult ministry and also served as the Frisco Campus Pastor.
However, long before that, Preston knew he had a specific calling on his life. When he was 18 years old, God called him to plant a church in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 2009, Pastor Robert and Preston agreed that it was time for him to start living out that calling. In September 2012, he launched Gateway Scottsdale, Gateway’s first church plant. Today Preston serves as the senior pastor for Gateway Scottsdale and is an elder for Gateway Church.
Preston grew up in a worship pastor’s home. At 13, he gave his life to the Lord in the middle of the night when he went downstairs to his parents’ bedroom and asked his father to pray with him. He and his wife, Holly, have three children: Rylie, Tyler, and Preston.
