Don Erehart serves as the Gateway Gatherings pastor for the St. Louis Gathering. He is committed to building a strong, Christ-centered community where people can grow in their relationships with God and one another. He has a passion to see people discover God’s destiny for their lives!
Don grew up in Indiana and committed his life to Jesus at the age of fifteen following the tragic death of a friend killed by a drunk driver while walking to Don’s house. The tragedy opened Don’s heart to pursuing God’s plan for his life and led to his journey of investing in high school students.
Don has been a leader in ministry since his college days. After 30 years in teen ministry, Don and his wife began their first Gateway Gathering in March of 2020 with another couple when they recognized the need to meet and encourage one another during the COVID-19 pandemic. Don was hired in June of 2021 as the Gateway Gatherings coordinator and helped equip gatherings across the country as they launched. In 2024, he transitioned to his current role as the St. Louis Gathering pastor. Don has a degree in business management from Oral Roberts University, a degree in building construction technology from Purdue University, and a master’s degree in Christian ministry from Regent University.
Don met his wife, Anne, in college at Purdue University, and they have been married since 1987. Don loves motivating others to know and follow Jesus, and Anne is a talented educator and strong leader. Together, they have three grown children whom they are so proud of and love to spend time with!
