Outreach | Revive Texas Evangelism Training | Nathaniel Naas

Group Type: Outreach
Campus: FRS
We meet to discuss witnessing topics, pray, and witness.  We focus on going out in Frisco, to love people, mostly by starting conversations, in order to find those open to hearing The Gospel and to help people become open to hearing The Gospel.

We will meet once a month, on every Second Saturday of the month, from 10 AM till 1 PM.  Call Nathaniel Naas for details.  214-789-6283

Do you know what the Gospel is?

The Gospel is the good news that God became man in Jesus Christ. He lived the life we should’ve lived, and died the death we should have died in our place. Three days later, He rose again, proving He is the Son of God and He offers the gift of salvation and the forgiveness of sins to everyone who repents and believes in Him.

Tell Your Testimony
Who were you before Christ?
How did you meet Jesus?
What has God done in your life since?

Two things keep people from sharing their faith: Fear, and Pressure to convert

Remember God’s love for you and stir-up your love for God and others.

Conversation not conversion. Be interested in people. Find out where they are. Love, listen, discern, respond. Respect others and the freedom God gives them while revealing reality with The Holy Spirit. Apeal to their conscience and let them respond. Warn of problems to come, but let them respond.
Be overjoyed God has given you such an important task.
Learn from mistakes and grow. God's yoke is easy and His burden is light.

What is the Bible’s message? Read the Gospel C’s.
Creation
Genesis 1:31 “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” God does everything very good. Is everything very good today? What is the main problem with the world? Sin; lust of our flesh, our eyes and pride has corrupted our hearts so we do not seek to know and love God in a close relationship.
Commandments
God’s 10 commandments help us see how we compare to God’s perfect love.           1. You shall have no other gods before Me (Are you seeking the one true God with all your heart)? 2. You shall not make for yourself a graven image (Have you worshiped or put creation before The Creator?) 3. You shall not take God's name in vain (Have you?) 4. Remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy (Do you set a day aside each week, special for God) 5. Honor your father and mother (Do you respect authority?) 6. You shall not murder (Hate is the spirit of murder. Have you hated?) 7. You shall not commit adultery (Lust is the spirit of adultery. Have you lusted?) 8. You shall not steal  (Have you ever?)  9. You shall not lie  (Have you ever?)  10. You shall not covet (Are you satisfied with God’s gifts?)
Condemnation
Daniel 12:2 “those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.” Jesus in love warned in Luke 13:3 “unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”(in Hell) When we sin against the just, eternal God of the universe we deserve a just, and eternal punishment. Everyone deserves Hell.  Our sin has separated us from a Holy God.
Compassion
Isaiah 53:5-6 “But He (Jesus) was wounded for our transgressions (sins), He was bruised for our iniquities; (sins) The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity (sin) of us all.” John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish (in Hell) but have everlasting life.” Romans 10:9 “if you confess with your mouth the Lord (Master) Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
God is calling you torepent, turn in your heart from your sin to trust Him! Make God your Lord or boss. Trust in Jesus’ resurrection power to save your spirit now, to progressively save your soul and at the second coming of Christ to give you a body that will never die. Call to God now for forgiveness, and eternal life with Him.

Everything Confirms Jesus is God and the Bible is true.
A painting demands a painter. Creation demands a Creator. Everything says God made me. We can learn what God is like from His creation. Think about the greatness of the universe. We know God is infinite because something greater than time and creation had to start time and creation. Thus if you are greater than time and created things you are uncreated you are outside of time, you have always been and will always be, you are limitless, or infinite. We can also know there is only one who is infinite. Two can’t claim to be limitless and both be right. God is one. Everything God is He is infinitely or limitlessly. God has knowledge, power and exists. God is all-knowing, present everywhere and all-powerful. This is exactly how the Bible describes God. Reason confirms the Bible.
