Men & Women are welcome to join this baby quilt ministry. We will provide baby quilts to Embrace Grace groups for their spring (May) & fall (November) baby showers.
For those not familiar with Embrace Grace, their purpose is to inspire and equip the church to love and encourage single and pregnant young women and their families. Women experiencing unexpected pregnancies receive practical, spiritual, and emotional support through their global support groups. To learn more visit their website at https://embracegrace.com
We are starting out our ministry to provide baby quilts to Gateway Church Embrace Grace groups. Hopefully, we will be able to expand to other local churches in the future.
All levels of quilters are welcome. We will meet via Zoom once a month to discuss projects. Occasionally, we will meet in person to show our quilts.
Sew at your own pace. Let us work together to bless these young mothers and babies who need our prayers and love.
Typical size quilts are:
Newborn 30" x 40"
Crib size 36" x 52"
Play Mat typically 36" square up to 40" x 60". Any variation of above is fine - your preference.
