Arts & Christ | Andrea Campos

Group Type: Women
Campus: NFW
Why this group?
Having creative talent isn’t just for hobbies or personal expression but as believers it’s a way for us to glorify God.

I was given a word a few years ago that said “Worship God in your crafting.” I hadn't put my DIY, creative nature, and my love for worshiping God together, until that day. The perspective of glorifying God when I’m doing arts & crafts began to shift.

My heart with this group is to invite whomever God will bring to do the same, but together. I can’t wait to meet y’all and worship Christ with our crafting!

Group expectations:
This fall we will be meeting up at various locations (lake side, coffee shop, park, my backyard ...) with our craft in hand and hang out, it's as simple as that and my deeper hope is to just talk about life, connect, and make new crafty friends who love God.

Group structure:
I will open with prayer, then we'll work on our individual projects, and when it's time to part ways we'll close our time with prayer requests and we'll pray for one another. If Holy Spirit puts something on my heart to share for a particular week, I'll do so.

Group frequency & location:

We will meet twice a month on Saturdays from 10:30am - noon.
Locations will vary, text me at 817*360*7474 to stay up to date!

What to bring/ supplies needed:
  • This group is intended for all forms of crafters; come knitters, painters, scrapbookers, coloring book enthusiasts or whatever interests you! With the ability to make your project of choice portable!!! (since we will be meeting up at various "inspiring" and "relaxing" locations)
  • Also, a physical bible and a notebook, just in case. (if you don't have a physical bible, let me know and I'll have one for you)
  • Personal snacks or drinks of your choice (there may be times we meet at Panera or a coffee shop with food)

I hope this information offers enough details for you to decide if to join us or not. Not every group is one size fits all, sometimes you have to try a few groups to find those you click with so please don't give up if you've been searching for your people. My book recommendation to encourage you to find others to do life with is a book called "Find Your People" by Jennie Allen

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

With gratitude,
Andrea <3
