At Gateway Church, some of us are called to bring children into our homes, while others are called to support these families in meaningful ways. That’s where the W.R.A.P. Group comes in—to “wrap around” and practically support foster and adoptive families at the Dallas campus.
How we help as a group:
- Meal calendars to ensure families are cared for during busy or transitional times.
- Respite care with certified babysitters to provide families with much-needed breaks (think fun aunt or uncle!).
- Acts of service like lawn care, running errands, and delivering care packages.
- Stocking a supply pantry to meet practical needs.
- Regular prayer to cover these families with spiritual support.
W.R.A.P. stands for:
- Wrestle in Prayer
- Respite Care
- Acts of Service
- Promises of God
We believe every child deserves a loving home and every family should feel supported as they step into this incredible calling. Whether through prayer, service, or resources, there’s a place for everyone to make an impact!
