Women's Bible Study | Claudia Lankenau

Group Type: Women
Campus: NRH
This group centers around the study of Bible books.  Together we have studied the book of Ephesians along with the two related studies of Watchman Nee's Sit, Walk, Stand and the Beatitudes taught by Jesus in Matthew 5-7.  We have also completed studies of James, the Gospel of John, and Romans.

In September, we will begin a study of Philippians, focusing on the main theme of the joy and fulfillment to be found in Christ--even through suffering--along with emphasis on the Christian's call to walk in humility and unity.

Each week, the study of a selected Bible passage is completed independently by all members. This group has two leaders who act as facilitators but who do not bear complete responsibility for teaching. It is our desire that each member first dig into our selected study for herself to hear what Holy Spirit is speaking individually from God's Word and to then be prepared when we come together to share insights, personal reflection, life application, and even questions for clarification via our weekly group discussions.

One meeting each month is set aside specifically for worship, prayer, and member care.

Fellowship share dish nights are scheduled at the conclusion of each study emphasis and once per month during the summer break.

This group is limited to 10 members per semester so as to encourage the time needed for deep, meaningful discussion and relationship. Currently we have one opening for the 2025 fall semester.
