Gateway Kids Summer Bash FAQ
Can I register my child for any location?
Yes! Gateway Kids Summer Bash is taking place at our Southlake, Dallas, Frisco, Grand Prairie, North Fort Worth, NRH, and Prosper Campuses. The Justin Campus will join in on the fun at the North Fort Worth Campus, and the Plano Campus will be part of the Frisco Campus event.
Do you accept same-day registration?
We will gladly offer same-day registration if space is still available. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible since seating is limited.
Is financial aid available?
It’s our desire for every child that wants to come to Summer Bash to be able to attend! If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Can my child attend if they aren’t 6 years old yet?
Summer Bash content and activities are specifically designed for elementary kids ages 6 years old through 6th grade. We are unable to have kids under 6 years old attend. Thank you for understanding.
Can my child with special needs attend the event?
We want to make every effort for your child to attend. Please contact us at email@example.com to discuss how we can provide the best support for your child.
What should my child wear to the event?
All our activities will be indoors. Because the auditorium is enclosed and air-conditioned, we recommend jeans or pants and layered clothing, including a light jacket in case they get cold.
Bonus: At check-in, your child will receive a Summer Bash team T-shirt to wear at the event!
What should my child bring to the event?
Your child should bring a Bible and light jacket in case they get cold. We ask that all other personal items be left at home. Thank you!
What if my child has an EpiPen or inhaler?
If your child has an EpiPen or inhaler, we ask that you bring the item with you to check-in along with this Medical Waiver completed. If you have further questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is lunch provided at the event?
A nut-free snack* will be part of our activities, but lunch will not be provided. To ensure your child is ready for a ton of fun at Summer Bash, please make sure they have a good breakfast to start the day.
*Due to extreme allergies of some attendees, Gateway Church has a no-nut snack food policy that says, “no products may contain nuts.”
Can my child sit with their friend at the event?
Yes! We ask that your child and their friend check in together on the first day of the event so we can assign them to the same team.
Can I drop off my child early?
Doors open for check-in at 9 am each day. We ask that you stay with your child until auditorium doors open for seating at 9:30 am.
Can I pick up my child early?
Because of our planned activities, we ask that your child stay through the duration of the event and not leave early.
Can I stay during the event?
For the safety of everyone attending, we do not allow anyone into the building that is not a registered Summer Bash volunteer or staff member. We require every adult working the event to have a background check and attend training. This is the best way for us to ensure your child is safe. Thank you for understanding.

Volunteers 7th grade or older are welcome to be a part of Summer Bash, and you can sign up by filling out our registration form! Learn more.
Can I get a refund for my child’s registration?
We know plans change! We can issue a refund for your child’s registration up to two weeks before the event.
