What We Believe

At Gateway Church, we believe we are called to lift one another up—rejoicing with those who rejoice and mourning with those who mourn. Whatever situation you’re navigating, we want you to know God loves you and we love you. Whether you need resources, prayer, or someone to walk alongside you in your specific need, we’re here to help!

When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. –Romans 12:13

Widows
Widows

Our desire is to honor, protect, provide for, and minister to widows at our church. Our care team is here to offer a safe and supportive environment where those who have lost their spouses can find comfort, encouragement, and hope. If you or a loved one needs more information, please submit a widows care request form, and someone will get connected with you.

Health Needs
Health Needs

Whether you’re dealing with a chronic illness, a new diagnosis, mobility challenges, or ongoing medical care, we want you to know you’re not alone. Our care team is here to walk with you through the ups and downs of physical health. If you or a loved one is struggling with a health need, contact us through our health need request form, and someone will get connected with you.

Pre-Marriage
Pre-Marriage

We offer premarital resources for couples who are thinking about marriage or are already engaged. This is an exciting time of life filled with joy, big decisions, and new discoveries. Whether you’re interested in a group setting or one-on-one counseling, we have something for you! To find out more, submit a pre-marriage counseling request form.

Funeral Care
Funeral Care

If a loved one has recently passed away, we want you to know we are so sorry for your loss. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. We also want to be available to support you during this season where we can through funeral care. Our care team is here to connect with your family, offer comfort, pray, and determine any needs (such as an officiant and/or host for the funeral service).

Hospital Visitation
Hospital Visitation

If you or a loved one is struggling with sickness or disease and would like a pastor or volunteer to visit the hospital, please contact us through our care request form. We don’t want anyone in our church family walking through their health journey alone, and we would be happy to offer our care and support.

Benevolence
Benevolence

If you are in need of financial support, we may be able to help. As a church we believe in generosity and stewardship, and we want to walk alongside our members in times of financial hardship. The church is a place where people can find support and opportunities to learn about their role as stewards of what God has entrusted them with.

Biblical Counseling

We desire to see Gateway members develop an intimate relationship with God. We do this through ministering to individuals seeking help with personal, relational, spiritual, and/or emotional issues. We offer counseling for inner healing, deliverance, prayer, guided exercises to hear the Lord, and breaking down strongholds.

One-on-one ministry at Gateway Church is where we meet with individuals and couples to minister to them during times of hardship. Ministry happens in a variety of ways including prayer, encouragement, support, and biblical counsel. This takes place in several forms: assessments, biblical counseling, marriage counseling, grief counseling, premarital counseling, and referral to professional counseling.

If you or a loved one wants to find out more about our in-house counseling options, please fill out a request form. If you need counseling regarding addiction or suicidal ideation, please also see our additional partnership resources.

This group is a place for prayer, support, fellowship, and friendship. Whether you are missing a prodigal child, parent, or loved one, you will find others here who understand your heart and will walk with you in faith and compassion. As we enter this new season, we will also be offering additional opportunities for connection and encouragement. Please check our group calendar or chat regularly for upcoming gatherings, prayer times, and special events. After you join, you will receive access to our online chat, where members can share prayer requests, find real-time support, and receive updates about group activities. We are honored to walk beside you. May God meet you here with comfort, strength, and hope.
