Sion Alford serves as the campus pastor for the Gateway Justin Campus. There he desires to lead people into a closer, more intimate relationship with God through worship, community, and the teaching of God’s Word.
Sion was raised in a Christian home with wonderful, God-fearing parents who taught him the importance of family and having a relationship with the Lord. When he was 16 years old, he made the decision to receive Christ and develop a personal relationship with Him.
Sion worked previously as a pharmacist, receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida. He has more than three decades of pastoral and worship leadership experience and served on staff at Gateway as the executive worship pastor, managing a talented team of over 30 worship leaders and pastors for over 10 years. He is also the author of Divine Detours and is passionate about helping worshippers foster a deeper, more intimate connection with the Father.
Sion has been married since 1992 to his beautiful and talented God-given gift, Shannon, and they have eight wonderful kids and two grandkids.
