Women’s Night Serve Team Roles

Important Notes: A current background check is required to serve at Women’s Night. All serve team members will assist with teardown/reset after the event unless otherwise noted.

Altar Prayer Team (Women Only)

Prays with attendees during the altar response time at the front of the auditorium. Prior prayer team training is required. Team members also help track prayer responses at the end of the event.

Parking Lot / Golf Cart Team

Welcomes guests upon arrival, assists with directions, and provides golf cart transportation to and from parking areas. Drivers must complete the Approved Driver Policy process and provide a valid Texas Driver’s License before serving.

Greeters (Women Only)

Creates a warm and welcoming environment by greeting guests, opening doors, answering questions, and helping attendees navigate the event.

Ushers (Women Only)

Assists guests inside the auditorium with seating, service flow, communion distribution (if applicable), and attendance counting.

Activities Team

Helps facilitate photo ops, games, booths, and interactive experiences while keeping activity areas organized and engaging.

Food & Beverage Team (FULL)

Prepares and maintains hospitality areas by serving refreshments, restocking supplies, and assisting with cleanup.

Setup Team

Helps prepare event spaces by setting up tables, booths, furniture, and other event elements. May include heavier lifting. Serves the day before and morning of the event. Not required to serve during teardown due to 2-day setup commitment.

Decor Team (FULL)

Decorates event spaces with linens, signage, décor, and photo opportunities before doors open. Serves the day before and morning of the event. Not required to serve during teardown due to 2-day commitment.

Live Production Team (FULL)

Supports the Live Production team with platform setup, furniture and prop movement, and service transitions. Call time is typically earlier on event day.

Groups / Next Steps Team (Staff Only)

Gateway staff members who will help attendees connect with groups, ministries, and next steps by answering questions and providing guidance.
