Daniel Floyd

Daniel Floyd was chosen to be the new senior pastor of Gateway Church in May of 2025. He will be officially installed as senior pastor in August of 2025. In 2005, he founded Lifepoint Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with campuses throughout the state. In 2016, he also founded Lifepoint College, committed to equipping the next generation with practical ministry training.  

He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern University and two master’s degrees from Liberty Theological Seminary. For over 20 years, he has been dedicated to raising up leaders, advancing the gospel, and strengthening the local church.

Daniel and his wife, Tammie, have four children: Owen, Faith, Abigail, and Jonas. They look forward to relocating to Texas and serving alongside the Gateway Church family!
