Daniel Floyd

Daniel Floyd is a sought-after speaker, respected pastor, and author. In August of 2025, Daniel and his wife, Tammie, accepted the call to become the lead pastors of Gateway Church. Together, they share a passion for building the local church and helping people live out their God-given purposes.

In 2005, Daniel founded Lifepoint Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia, which has grown to multiple campuses across the state. For 20 years, Daniel gave his life to raising up leaders and advancing the gospel in those communities. While at Lifepoint, he also established Lifepoint College, dedicated to equipping the next generation with practical ministry training.

Daniel holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern University and two master’s degrees from Liberty Theological Seminary. He also serves on the Association of Related Churches (ARC) lead team. For several years, he has coached pastors and churches through leadership roundtable events.

Daniel and Tammie have four children: Owen, Faith, Abigail, and Jonas.
