Lead a Group

Groups

Interested in becoming a Gateway Group leader?

Gateway Group leaders facilitate small groups so people can meet new friends and have safe places to talk about life. No matter what kind of group you lead, all groups provide safe places for people to connect with each other. Jesus teaches us that it is in community that we grow.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34–35

Leading a group doesn’t have to be intimidating or overwhelming. You can lead wherever you want, and around whatever your passion is! Do you enjoy: walking, rock climbing, serving the community, trying new restaurants, or studying the Bible? No matter what kind of group you’d like to lead, what the content will be, or what stage of life you’re in, our team will equip you with the tools and resources you need to succeed!

Join us at a Group Leader Interest Meeting at any campus where you’ll experience what it’s like to lead a Gateway Group and learn more about our approval process, which consists of two simple steps:

  1. Complete the Serve application.
  2. Attend a Group Leader Interest Meeting.
