Mark Jobe

Southlake Campus Pastor

Mark Jobe is the campus pastor for the Gateway Southlake Campus where he leads a great team of pastors and leaders as everyone moves through the process of being saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped, empowered, and ready to serve others. He meets people where they are and is passionate about seeing marriages strengthened, seeing individuals find their God-given purpose, and helping people walk into new levels of life and freedom through their relationship with Jesus.

Mark heard the gospel for the first time when he was eight years old at a James Robison Crusade in Waco, Texas. He prayed to receive Christ and was baptized a few days later. As he got older he drifted from the Lord and never grew in his faith. When he was 16, some of his high school friends invited him to their church. On September 18, 1977, he fully surrendered his life to the Lord.

Mark attended Liberty Bible College and Criswell Institute for Biblical Studies (now Criswell College). He has been in full-time ministry since 1980.

Pastor Mark has been married to Sandy, the love of his life, since March 1980. They have three married children and five grandchildren: Kari and Cody Carnes, grandsons Canyon and Kingston; Kris and Michael Laymon, grandson Duke, and granddaughter James Ivy, who is in heaven but forever in their hearts; Caleb and Victoria Jobe, grandson, Henry.
