Derek Dunn serves as the campus pastor for our Gateway North Fort Worth Campus. He desires to see people from all backgrounds come to know Jesus and develop an intimate relationship with God. He is passionate about every person discovering their true identity as God’s child.
Derek grew up going to church and made the decision to give his life to Jesus at the age of six. During his teenage years, he felt called to ministry, and while his relationship with the Lord developed, he started serving in the church. After high school, he began working in full-time ministry. Before coming to Gateway Church, Derek was part of planting a church and serving as a youth pastor.
Derek graduated from Louisiana College where he met his best friend and wife, Nicole. He and Nicole were married on May 14, 2010. They are blessed with three sons: Dawson, Edwin, and Judan.
