Chelsea Seaton has served on staff at Gateway since 2009 when she became a women’s department coordinator and administrative assistant to Pastor Debbie Morris. In 2012 she helped launch the North Fort Worth Campus and served as the campus women’s pastor. Two years later, she transitioned to Gateway’s technology department where she helped launch the first Gateway Church app, MyGateway. In 2016 Chelsea transitioned to central ministries where she oversaw groups, care, Equip, and guest experiences. In the summer of 2020, she became the executive pastor of next generation ministries at Gateway Church where she leads the kids, students, and young adults teams.
Chelsea grew up in North Richland Hills, attended Hardin Simmons University, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and church ministry. She is a visionary who leads her teams with laughter, strategy, and encouragement. She is passionate about helping the next generation believe in Jesus and find community and family at Gateway Church just like she did 14 years ago.
Chelsea has two rescue dogs, Chloe and Sadie, and enjoys traveling; studying theology, church history, and leadership development; and training for marathons and triathlons. She is an Ironman triathlete and multiple marathon finisher.
