We all experience shame at some point in our life. Shame is defined as a painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behavior. When we attempt to cover up sin, or act out of fear of someone else uncovering it, the door opens for shame to creep in. We know the Father has forgiven us but shame attaches itself to memories from our past or current bad habits we struggle to let go of.
