Buster Cole Prison Campus Visit

Hello Everyone,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

We are excited to announce upcoming opportunities for prison ministry visits and church services at the Buster Cole Unit.

Volunteer Sign-Up Deadline: ONE MONTH PRIOR

This is the deadline to submit the list of volunteers to the Warden for approval.

Meeting Location and Time:

• Meet 5:00 PM at 208 N Central Expy, McKinney, TX 75070 (parking lot of Auto Zone). We will leave promptly at 5:30 PM to head to Buster Cole, so please make sure you arrive before then. We need to be at Buster Cole by 6:30 PM.

Dress Code:

• Please avoid wearing tight clothing or items with holes.
• Business casual attire (such as jeans and t-shirts) is recommended.
• Important: Do not bring items such as cell phones, wallets, pocketknives, or smartwatches that could interfere with the process. Please ensure your car is locked.
• For Volunteers with Pacemakers: Please inform the staff upon arrival, as you may be subject to a pat-down search instead of using a metal detector.

Conduct:

• It’s essential to maintain professional boundaries with the inmates during the church service.
• Please do not provide any personal items or services, such as offering your phone number or any other personal information. Such actions could lead to inappropriate relationships and legal issues.
• Inmates are provided for within the prison system, and volunteers should not be relied upon for additional support. Focus on providing spiritual guidance, while also adhering to the rules of the prison

First Time Sign Ups:

Please send the following information via text to (469) 297-9971 or email plnprisonministry@gatewaystaff.com. If you’ve already submitted this information before, there is no need to resend it.

• A picture copy of your current Driver’s License or ID
• Ex-TDCJ (Yes/No) ?
• If Yes, provide Release Date
