Equip | Overcoming Father Wounds

Every person has father wounds because we are all born into sin and none of our earthly fathers are perfect. We all started with an earthly father, but we have now been adopted by God and are His sons and daughters. Our concept of God is formed by our earthly parents, causing us to have false conceptions of who He truly is. If we want to get to know God, we need to look to Jesus! Because of Jesus, we have been forgiven, healed, and set free, so we need to extend that forgiveness to our earthly fathers. By developing a relationship with God, we can be set free from father wounds and get to know our Good Father.
