Equip | Breaking Free from Shame

Tuesday, November 9
7 am–8:30 pm
Frisco Campus | Classroom A

We all experience shame at some point in our lives. Shame is defined as “a painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behavior.” When we attempt to cover up sin or act out of the fear of someone else uncovering it, the door opens for shame to creep in.

Even though we know the Father has forgiven us, we can experience shame from bad memories or the guilt of unhealthy habits. In this class, we will examine where we pick up the shame we carry, the issues shame causes in our walk with God, and how He has provided a way out from under its heavy weight.
