Jeremy Carrasco is a general and trauma surgeon and has been practicing in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex since 2006. Since beginning his medical practice, Jeremy has served in many leadership roles including chief of surgery, medical director, medical executive committee member, chair of peer review committee, and vice-chair of trauma. He completed his residency training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and attended Texas Tech Medical School.

He met Angela in college at Southern Nazarene University, and they married in 1998. Prior to college, Jeremy was not a believer and during his senior year, he got his first DWI. He kept trying to do things on his own, and then eight months later he got a second DWI. It was while he was in jail for his second DWI on November 13, 1996, that he fully surrendered his life to the Lord. Angela accepted the Lord shortly after he did.

Jeremy and Angela have been attending Gateway since 2001, where he serves as a nonstaff elder. They have four children: Isaiah, Luke, Caroline, and Asher. The Carrascos are passionate about the Lord and pursuing a revival culture. Their family vision is fearless fire forever!
