Joined Gateway Staff: I have worked with Amazing Kids since 2004 and became a full-time staff person in June 2007.

Family: Married to Cheryl since July 1982 (we’ve known each other since the 6th grade). She is absolutely my best friend! We are blessed to have two grown sons, Casey & Chase, and two wonderful daughters-in-law; Courtney, who married Casey in 2008, and Jenny, who married Chase in 2012. (Not to be forgotten, the prince of the house, Manchester our Yorkshire Terrier)

Saved: Though I attended church from the time I was an infant, I was truly saved and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1979 at a youth retreat led by the late singer/songwriter Keith Green.

Education: BBA – Dallas Baptist University; MBA – LaSalle University

Previous Lines of Work: I spent 13 years in Christian Educational publishing. As the VP of Alpha Omega Publications, I was responsible for the sales and service of over 2,000 Christian schools located throughout all 50 states and over 30 countries, 500+ Christian bookstore accounts and 25,000 homeschool family accounts. In addition, I have attended and conducted workshops at over 200 homeschool book fairs and conventions in over 25 states.

One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating: Traveling the world, just seeing the beauty and imagination of our Creator—our world is a work of art.
