Worship Team Academy

What Is Worship Team Academy?
Worship Team Academy (WTA) is an exciting training program for raising up passionate, worshipping musicians and vocalists (ages 13+). Each 12-week semester uses an exclusive video curriculum that focuses on content and skills relevant to modern worship. WTA uses the Nashville number system to teach scales, chords, rhythm, and chart reading. In every course, students are taught new musical skills to apply in worship songs.

WTA offers group courses in acoustic guitar, piano, drums, bass guitar, electric guitar, percussion, and vocals. Courses supplement students’ craft training at their current level of development, beginner through advanced. Many courses address specific techniques, such as our pop-style vocal courses and guitar courses. The WTA staff will help every student determine which level is appropriate before registration.

Where do classes take place?

All classes will be held at The King’s University Campus (Southlake)

The upcoming semester will meet from February to May 2019, and there are still spots available!

How do I get involved?
We hold a Worship Information Meeting quarterly to explain Worship Team Academy involvement. Check out dates for upcoming meetings.
