And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory … ”
1 Chronicles 4:10

Everything about our life in Christ is expanding.

From “be fruitful and multiply” to “go into all the world,” it’s clear that God wants us to grow and take in new territory. This doesn’t happen all at once, of course! It starts deep within us as God’s Spirit gently moves us from one glory to the next, renewing us with His Word and aligning our thoughts with His truth.

We sometimes get frustrated with ourselves, though, thinking maybe we aren’t growing fast enough. But like a father teaching his daughter to ride a bike, God is simply delighted to share in this process with us. You see, God is confident in His ability to teach us, and He’s confident in our ability to learn. So, He stands beside us as we pedal along, rejoicing over our progress and ready to give us a loving nudge in the right direction when we need it (and we so often do).

Stick with the learning process, and what’s the reward? The training wheels come off!

No longer tied to the curb, we ride out into new spaces, unencumbered. We’re free to explore beyond what’s familiar, to encounter God’s blessing and favor in greater measures. And along the way, God brings people into our lives for us to minister to and encourage, giving us an opportunity to experience “the fullness of joy” that comes from seeing others set free.

New growth, expansion, life and life more abundantly—this is the focus of God’s brilliant plan for you. And not only does He want you to grow as an individual, but He’s also positioning you to be a vehicle of blessing for the people around you, to change the world in a unique way. So, the question is, how will you respond? How will you make your mark?

This year’s Pink Impact was designed to help you answer that question. It’s a time when we can come together in an atmosphere of worship and grow closer to God and closer to each other. At the conference, you’ll have the opportunity to stretch your reach wider by getting plugged in to volunteer with one of the many ministries offered through Gateway Women.

So, if you’ve never attended Pink Impact, we hope you’ll come! And if you have, we’d love to hear from you. Share with us your testimonies from past conferences on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Let’s build the excitement and grow together!
