Gateway Central provides an inviting atmosphere during the weekend services to members and guests, which involves answering questions and escorting people to classes, children’s ministry, and other functions. Hosts answer guests’ questions about the service and Gateway Church. Hosts also assist those who have recently given their hearts to Christ. If you enjoy talking with people and helping them get connected at Gateway, this is the place for you to serve.
The purpose of greeting is to welcome our guests during the weekend services by reaching out to them with a smile and friendly handshake. Greeting our guests as they arrive creates a inviting environment in preparation for how the Lord will minister to them during worship and the message.
Through Gateway Groups, the church becomes more than a weekly meeting; it becomes who we are. As a Gateway Group leader, you can foster an atmosphere of belonging, serving, and growing together.

We want to see everyone at Gateway Church have a Christ-centered worldview, which includes being a good steward in every area of their lives. We promote good stewardship through being a generous giver, being debt-free (or having a plan to become debt-free), saving regularly, living with financial margin, and basing decisions on a monthly spending plan. We have several volunteer opportunities; you can help facilitate classes, participate in one-on-one budget counseling, or help with administrative tasks at the office—to name a few.
