Several Gateway ministries have big things planned this fall.
After a long summer break, several ministry events at Gateway are starting up again! With the arrival of crisp weather, football, and pumpkin spice lattes, we’re gearing up for a fall semester full of fresh experiences, new offerings, and familiar friends.

Family Life Night
Begins Monday, September 21

Sometimes the start of fall, with school, sports, and all kinds of activities, means the decline of family time. That’s why we’re excited to relaunch Family Life Night as a time when you can reconnect and strengthen your marriage and family. This semester, we’re doing something different. Every Monday night, everyone (7th grade and up) will gather for worship in the Southlake Campus Auditorium. Then, you can choose to attend one of our many classes or remain in the Auditorium for the main session where we’ll hear from several of our very own Gateway pastors. Afterward, you’ll have time to discuss what you’ve learned in a group, or you can just enjoy connecting with your family and friends in a relaxed and unstructured environment.

Children’s ministry (birth–6th grade) is available, but space is limited and registration is required.

Gateway Equip
Begins Wednesday, September 2

On Wednesday, September 2, we’re launching the fall semester of Equip with a Night of Worship and the Word during which we combine powerful worship with insightful teaching. We have an exciting semester planned with special classes and speakers bound to pique your interest and fill your mental and spiritual tanks. In addition to a variety of weekday classes, we’ll have several weekend classes as well, including freedom, prayer, and even Spanish Equip classes at several campuses. Here’s a sneak peak at a couple of the classes we have planned:

Strengths-Based Marriage
Taught by Allan Kelsey
This class will cover best areas of communication between a husband and wife as well as brand new insight on understanding your spouse’s motivations and innate attributes.

Redemptive Themes from Hollywood
Taught by Josh Morris, Thomas Miller, Dr. Kerry Wood, Walker Beach, and S. George Thomas
The shows and movies we watch can be so much more than mere entertainment. Learn how to discern God speaking to us through the timeless medium of stories.

Our Beginnings: First Things

Come explore why “To the Jew First” is a priority at Gateway Church and how this principle relates to our marriages, families, and jobs.

Business God’s Way

Gateway Groups
Beginning the Weekend of August 28

Looking to turn over a new leaf this fall? Why don’t you join a Gateway Group?

God has wired all of us to desire companionship and community, but with a church as big as Gateway, sometimes it’s hard to see the same people twice! Gateway Groups are a way for you to meet new people, grow stronger in your relationship with God and others, and foster a small community you can call your own. Whether your group meets weekly for coffee or monthly to go rock climbing, there’s a place within Gateway where you belong.

Groups begin a new semester after our annual Block Party at each campus. The Block Party is a great way to explore different groups, meet leaders, and ask questions to find out which group fits you best.
