Jewish Ministry

The Bible tells us to pray for Israel and the Jewish people, and we have many ways for you to get involved!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Romans 1:16

Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.
Romans 10:1

I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.
Romans 9:1–5

Shabbat Service Prayer

  • Preservice Prayer
Fridays before Shabbat Service | 7:15–7:45 pm
Before the service, join us as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6), the salvation of Israel (Romans 10:1), and divine protection for the Jewish people (Jeremiah 31:36). We’ll worship, pray, and intercede on behalf of God’s purposes concerning Israel, the Jewish people and over the service. For more information, email
  • Shabbat Service Prayer Team
Jewish Ministry is made up of a community of real people living life through all circumstances. We want to be able to stand by one another in prayer through celebrations and challenges. If you need prayer, we have a prayer team available to pray with you immediately after our Shabbat Services. If you are interested in serving on the prayer team, email

Prayer Groups
Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly

If you enjoy praying, this is the place for you as you will be praying for Israel, the Jewish people, and the Messianic movement around the world. Prayer may include Gateway Jewish Ministry, evangelism in our community, the Dallas Campus, and anything related the Lord places on your heart.

Our intercessors provide regular prayer coverage for Jewish Ministry staff, the Shabbat Service, ministry trips, and various special events. The prayer leaders send prayer requests two to four times per month, and in between their emails, you can pray as God leads you for the ministry. Intercessors are welcome to pray whenever led and whenever works best for their schedule. Our only request is that you pray regularly, and we know that means different things for each person’s schedule. If you are interested in being an intercessor, complete this form to start the process.
