Jewish Groups

Here in Jewish Ministry, we strive to reflect the many wonderful aspects of Jewish culture every chance we get. At the very heart of the Jewish culture is gathering together in community. Jewish Ministry Groups are just another way for us to come together. If you’re looking for a way to get connected, take a look at the various group descriptions below and email us to get started. If you have an idea for a group that is not listed, please let us know! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Shabbat Groups
Friday Nights | 1–3 Times a Month
Some of you already lead or are connected in one, but if you are newly interested in starting your own Shabbat Group, let us know. This group can meet in your home or another host home and does not involve teachings but revolves around fellowship and a meal. Minimal liturgy may be presented when the leader (or someone in the group) prays over the cup, bread, candles, and group members.

Prayer Groups
Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly
If you enjoy praying, this is the place for you. You will be praying for Israel, the Jewish people, and the Messianic movement around the world. Prayer may include Gateway Jewish Ministry, evangelism in our community, the Dallas Campus, and anything related the Lord places on your heart.

Jewish Roots (Havdalah)
Weekly Study Groups
This is a Bible study that meets weekly on a particular day and time chosen by the group leader. The primary focus is to discuss the previous Havdalah meeting.

Shabbat Service
Monthly Study Groups
This is a Bible study that meets monthly after each Shabbat Service. The primary focus is to discuss the previous service.
