The impact of the earthquakes in Mexico and Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria have left a trail of shattered homes and lives that has affected millions of people. Gateway Church has been deeply involved with crisis relief organizations and local churches in sending funding, resources, and people in response to this overwhelming need. Gateway Church Crisis Relief continues to monitor and participate in ongoing relief efforts in south Texas and in Florida and is formulating assistance and relief initiatives for Mexico and Puerto Rico.

HURRICANE MARIA

Due to the devastation in Puerto Rico, they are without power and cell service. We have been able to communicate with a few churches in the area. We are working with them on a plan to get needed supplies and resources to the area.

We will be taking a team to Puerto Rico in December. For more information, click here

MEXICO EARTHQUAKES

We are working with Missions International to help bring aid to those affected by the earthquakes in Mexico.

To donate to Missions International, visit missionsinternational.org/give, click "Donate" and specify "Mexico Earthquakes" in the spot labeled “add special instructions to the seller.”

HURRICANE IRMA

Hurricane Irma is one of the most powerful storms ever recorded. With wind gusts reaching up to 210 mph, it has the potential to be devastating to everything in its path. We are closely monitoring the storm and are in communication with local churches and ministries in Florida. We will continue to update this website as the situation unfolds. We ask you to please be patient as we assess the needs and work to be of best assistance during this situation.

It is important we follow an organized response so that we, as a church, can be of assistance and not a hindrance. We ask that you not travel to the disaster site(s) unless you have communicated with an organization already involved in relief efforts and they are aware of your arrival.
