Feast of Tabernacles: Sukkot

The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is a picture of the Millennial reign of Christ when He establishes His kingdom on earth. During this feast, the Israelites lived in temporary booths or tabernacles for seven days, setting the stage for Christ’s advent, when “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). Join us as we explore the theological significance of the Feast of Tabernacles.

Birth of Jesus at Sukkot

The early church adopted December 25 as the official day to acknowledge the incarnation of Messiah, repurposing the existing pagan celebration of Saturnalia. Sukkot illustrates that God would dwell in the midst of His people through the presence of the Messiah. In this class, we’ll examine the many signs in the Old and New Testaments that point to Jesus’ birth.

One New Man–Jew and Gentile
